Diclofenac Topical

Diclofenac topical is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) applied to the skin to reduce pain and inflammation at the affected site. It is commonly used for osteoarthritis of joints amenable to topical treatment, such as the knees and hands.

Dosage by Body Weight

Apply to clean, dry skin over the affected area. For 1% gel, typically apply 2g (upper body joints) or 4g (lower body joints) up to 4 times daily. Do not exceed 32g per day. Do not apply to open wounds or infected skin.
